Client: Stephanie Chase
Coach: Eric Kenney

  1. Town, State:  Portland, Maine

  2. Training Focus: My training focus is to be the best all around competitive cyclist that I can be.  So many times I hear cyclists say, "I'm not a climber" or "I'm not a sprinter".  As soon as you say "I'm not" than indeed you're not.  Psychological barriers can be worse than lack of fitness in any competitive sport.  Mind over matter...if I don't mind, it won't matter.

  3. 3. Your “A” Race for 2007:  The Fitchburg Longjo Classic Stage race 06/28 - 07/01

  4. #1 Goal:  To continue to maintain a level a fitness and power that allows me to keep being competitive and enjoying myself on a bicycle.  #2 Goal is to never get dropped on the Cycle Mania/PVC Smackdown ride Saturday Mornings.

  5. Athletic Accomplishment You Are Most Proud Of:  I'm most proud of the passion that I have for the sport and getting people involved in cycling.  I am proud to race on a women's team whose focus is team tactics and getting teammates to the line first.  All of us check the ego's at the start line and get out there and race with each other, for each other.

  6. Favorite Snack/Food:  Blackened Ahi and Ice Cream

  7. I’d rather be:  Riding my bike on a warm day, then going for a swim with a cooler full of awesome food, gold beverage and my goofy dog.
