Long Run Report Card

Ever do that long run and wonder what your data looked like? Well, if you own one of those fancy-pants GPS things, you could probably graph it (if you can figure out the software, that is!). Here is the lo-tech solution for everyone else.

As you run, use your HRM lap button to keep track of your splits per mile. This will also give you your Avg HR for each "lap" or mile. After your run, once you have cooled down, etc., open the spreadsheet (see link for download below) and enter the information on the first page -- including the chart w/ your pace per mile and your Avg HR data. Then, go to Tab #2 -- Chart (@ the bottom) to see the visual.

Be sure to save this w/ a date specific title so you know where it fits in your training history when you go back and review it!

Happy Training!
