Performance Training Systems (PTS) is an elite sports training facility for clients looking to make real results. We are a results based company that maintains the highest standard in sport specific strength and conditioning, personal training, nutrition consultation, soft tissue/mobility management therapies and rehabilitation. PTS was designed with the high level athlete in mind and as such contains the highest quality coaching and equipment available. We are located just east of Shermer Road a few blocks south of Willow Road, in Northbrook.

Adam Wenk
BS, CSCS, FRC
Adam Wenk is the Co-owner and Head Strength Coach of our location in Northbrook, PTS North Shore. Adam joined the PTS team in June 2017. He graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. After completing a summer internship with PTS, Adam was brought on as a full time Strength and Conditioning Coach and earned his NSCA-CSCS certification.
While at Indiana University, Adam held a student-assistant Strength Coach position for the Indiana University Men’s Basketball Program for the 2014-2015 season as well as the 2015-2016 Big Ten Championship season. While with the IU basketball program, Adam was in charge of student-athlete nutritional requirements, injury rehabilitation, and team workout implementation.
Adam specializes in training youth athletes with an emphasis on baseball, football, hockey, and basketball. He is working to further his education in strength training and conditioning for athletes in a variety of sports and Olympic weightlifting.
Quinn Meier
BS
Quinn graduated from Indiana University South Bend in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. After completing a summer internship with Performance Training Systems in 2024, he officially joined the PTS staff full-time in June 2025.
A lifelong athlete, Quinn played five years of college baseball, beginning at Oakton College where he helped lead the team to back-to-back NJCAA World Series appearances. He later transferred to IUSB to continue his playing career while completing his education.
Originally from Northbrook, Quinn has been involved in coaching from a young age, working with the Northbrook Baseball and Glenbrook North Feeder Basketball programs. He brings that same passion for youth athletic development to PTS, where he specializes in working with youth athletes, with an emphasis on baseball, football, hockey, and basketball.
Driven by a deep passion for strength training, health, and overall wellness, Quinn is currently pursuing the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and is committed to continued education in sport-specific performance and athlete development.
